DESCRIPTION:It’s our Bookshop Birthday!! \nWe’re having a party and you are cordially invited to join us for cake\, music\, drinks and consorting with alpacas and other generally excellent and interesting company to celebrate the 55th Birthday of our bookshop \nSunday 21st May\, from 11am til 3pm. \n11am – Fletcher and the Caterpillar Story Walk \nFollow pages from one of our favourite children’s books which you’ll find displayed along the borders of our community garden. \nThen get creative with Fletcher colouring sheets. \nMeet Author Julia Rawlinson who will be joining us between 11am and 1pm \n11.30 am – 12.30pm Alpaca Pals \n Get up close and personal with these beautiful Alpacas for a calm and \nhands on tactile experience. \n12.45 pm – Pianist Abdi Yusuf \nEnjoy music from one of our favourite and very talented local pianists. \n1pm – Happy Birthday singing with cake & fizz! \n1pm – 3pm Sweethearts Face Painting \n Verity will be working her magic to give us all a bit of sparkle and pizzazz! \nAlso\, as it’s a big birthday year we have lots of event plans\, so make sure you’re following us on our social media and signed up to our newsletter. \nThe first event we’d like to announce is a great behind the scenes glimpse into the process of novel writing. We’ve got one of our best-selling authors\, Caroline Lea\, on a panel in discussion with her editor\, Jill Taylor. Jill Taylor is Penguin’s Editorial Director\, and works with authors such as Marian Keyes\, Richard Osman.
