Unfortunately Caroline Lea will not be able to join us for our Dangerous Women event in July due to a private health matter but fortunately acclaimed author and good friend of the bookshop Annie Garthwaite has stepped in to help. On the night we will still be discussing Love, Sex & Frankenstein by Caroline Lea, Sinners by Elizabeth Freemantle and now Annie Garthwaite’s The King’s Mother which tells the story of four dangerous women! We are so excited to delve deeper into these powerful women who are so often overlooked in historical records.
Join us in conversation with best selling authors Elizabeth Fremantle and Annie Garthwaite on why women in Historical Fiction were often viewed as ‘Dangerous’ for rebelling against society’s rules and expectations.
We are looking forward to be back at Kenilworth School & Sixth Form for this wonderful event. Our last event here SOLD OUT so please book promptly if you would like to join us.
